Queen to Play
French director Caroline Bottaro’s first attempt at directing was a smash hit (1/15/10) at PSIFF. The rather shy young lady accepted the applause with a slight bow. Casting Kevin Kline, she said, made her feel “like a child at Christmas.” She never dreamed she’d have an actor of his caliber in her first film. And besides, he speaks French.
